Industry Veteran to Oversee Global Privacy Activities Across all of Epsilon’s Businesses;
Focus on Providing Consumers with Awareness, Transparency and Choice
DALLAS – July 7, 2016 – Epsilon®, a global leader in creating connections between people and brands, today announced that Noga Rosenthal has joined as Chief Privacy Officer. Rosenthal will be based out of the company’s New York City office.
As Chief Privacy Officer, Rosenthal will oversee all privacy-related activities for Epsilon and its Conversant business, including the global development, implementation, maintenance of and adherence to the organization’s policies and procedures covering the privacy of, and access to, online and offline consumer data. Her responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with various self-regulatory regimes as well as domestic state and federal laws and regulations and those of foreign jurisdictions. Rosenthal will guide and advocate on behalf of Epsilon’s internal teams, partners and clients to support industry self-regulation, responsible privacy practices, as well as consumer awareness, transparency and choice. Additionally, she will monitor and help guide the company’s global public policy efforts.

Prior to Epsilon, Rosenthal served as General Counsel and Vice President for Compliance and Policy for the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI), leading their compliance program and ensuring that member companies delivered on the promise of self-regulation for interest-based advertising. Rosenthal has an extensive background in online advertising, legal issues and emerging technologies, previously serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of WPP plc companies Xaxis (f/k/a 24/7 Media, Inc.) and Media Innovation Group, LLC. She has represented her past employers across committees and boards including the Advisory Board of the Digital Advertising Alliance, the Legal Affairs Council and the Public Policy Council of the Interactive Advertising Bureau, the International Association of Privacy Professionals Education Advisory Board and the NAI Board of Directors.
